Newsletter Term 5
We are all hoping for some sunny Spring and Summer days so that we can get out and about in the school grounds.
Our Science topic this term is habitats and we are very lucky to have a garden, a field, a small piece of woodland and a pond of our own.
The children will learn about the plants and creatures that live in our local environment and also a little about a rainforest environment in Term 6.
Hope you enjoyed our regular celebration of Spring at the Spring Singalong in All Saints Church,Maidstone.
For the first few weeks of Term 4, our Maths and English lessons will mainly be for revision in preparation for SATs.
We will be investigating and solving mathematical problems and writing in different way for different purposes to show off the children’s fantastic progress and considerable talents!
In Term 6 we have our Key Stage 1 trip to Wildwood to look forward to. This is on July 5th. It will be nice to have two or three parent helpers for this day out so please let me know if you will be able to help.
Please keep reading the weekly newsletter as other dates, for example Sports Day, will follow.
