Our MISSION STATEMENT is...

 At St John`s Church of England School children will

Every school is assigned a KCC "School Improvement Partner". These are the successes that she has detailed:
  • Successful Ofsted inspection MARCH 2010 "This is a good school with outstanding features"
  • Outstanding R.E. & Worship inspection APRIL 2010
  • Improved 2011 and 2012 results for Early Years with Year R moderation deemed OUTSTANDING
  • Attainment at KS1 & KS2 is well above the local and National averages with targets exceeded
  • 49% of our Year 6 children achieved a Level 5 in BOTH English and Maths in 2012
  • Our "Value Added" Progress Measures place the school in the top 7% of all schools nationally (Top 5% in English), 2011
  • 47% of the Year 6 children attained a place at a grammar school
  • International Status achieved
  • Adventure Playground opened which supports fitness, agility and self confidence
  • Sporting success: St John`s has done extremely well in the County gymnastics tournaments, football, netball and cross country events - We were awarded "KENT PRIMARY SCHOOL OF THE YEAR IN PE & SPORT"
